Registrations: for each subscription to an award category, the candidate will receive a questionnaire, checked by the Advisory Board. The entries in 2008 will be presented in PowerPoint format following the different chapters of the questionnaire. This compulsory presentation could be accompanied by supporting documents: brochures, photos, CDs, videos, etc. Furthermore, the five nominees of each category will be asked to provide a video spot of one minute maximum to showcase the candidacy and to be used during the ceremony.

A single hotel brand can only submit one entry per category, and select a maximum of five different categories.
Deadline: the call for candidates is open until the 22nd of September, 2008.

Selection Committee: it is composed with members of the editorial team of the associated medias and non-hotelier members of the Advisory Board. It will select five finalists among all the entries to be presented for the final decision of the international jury.

Finalist: once the selection is made by the Committee, the finalists’ dossier and audio-visual documents will be used by the jury to make its decision and will be broadcasted during the ceremony and on the website.

International jury: It is composed of some forty renowned figures of the business world, the tourism industry, and the marketing sector (excluding the hotel and restaurant industry). It will meet in October 2008 to choose the winner for each category, among the five finalists selected by the Selection Committee.

Registration fees: 600 Euros per entry for hotel groups (400 Euros for the 4th and 5th entries); 400 Euros per entry for independent operators (300 Euros for the 4th and 5th entries).

Participation in the competition will not be confirmed until receipt of the candidate’s duly completed dossier or dossiers, as well as payment of registration fees.

Awards ceremony: It will be held on Thursday, November 18th, 2008 at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris – 51, rue de Courcelles 75008 Paris France.
