For more than 10 years, MKG Group has undertaken to promote the initiatives of the hospitality industry all around the world through the Worldwide Hospitality Awards.
This international competition founded by Georges Panayotis, President & CEO of MKG Group is an opportunity for hotels to highlight their teams’ exemplary achievements in communication, marketing, innovation, human resources, social and environmental responsibility, customer loyalty programs.
A major innovation has been added in 2010 with the creation of the Worldwide Hospitality Management Schools Awards. Through them, a link will be made between the international schools of hospitality management and the future operations managers.
Since the beginning of the event in 2000, the Hospitality Awards have received close to 1000 applications. More than 150 awards were given during the past 10 years. Candidates from all the continents enter every year the competition. The Worldwide Hospitality Awards thus are an excellent representation of the international hospitality industry diversity and help to reveal its innovative processes and concepts.
The Hospitality Awards organization and development are placed under the control of an Advisory Board which includes representatives of the worldwide hospitality industry for the hotels competition and representatives of worldwide hospitality management schools as well as hotel groups human resources managers for the school awards.
An international jury composed of about forty renowned figures of the business world, the tourism industry, and the marketing sector (excluding the hotel and restaurant industry) choose the finalists of the worldwide hospitality awards. The Worldwide Hospitality Management Schools Awards were created in 2010. Through them, a link will be made between the international schools of hospitality management and the future operations managers.The jury of the worldwide hospitality management schools awards is made of representatives of the worldwide hospitality industry.
The Worldwide Hospitality Awards thus are an excellent representation of the international hospitality industry diversity and help to reveal its innovative processes and concepts.
A major innovation has been introduced in the coming edition with the possibility for the readers of Hospitality-ON.com to proceed with the pre-selection of five nominees who will be presented to the International Jury. This juy will make its own selection of 3 finalists who, in the last round of selection, will be submitted to the verdict of the attendants of the ceremony. This ceremony will take place on November 12, 2012, at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand.
Every year, a representative of an International hotel group chairs the ceremony which is held in November in Paris.

Registrations
For each subscription to an award category, the candidate will receive a questionnaire, checked by the Advisory Board. The entries in 2012 will be presented in PowerPoint format following the different chapters of the questionnaire. Several documents may be joined to this compulsory presentation: This compulsory presentation could be accompanied by supporting documents: brochures, photos, CDs, videos, etc. A high-resolution logo of your brand (Illustrator vector) is required as well as a one page summary of your presentation. Furthermore, the nominees
of each category will be asked to provide a video spot of one minute maximum to showcase the candidacy and to be used during the ceremony. The candidacies

Registration fees
650 Euros Exc. VAT per entry for hotel groups / hotel chains or individual hotels belonging to an hotel group (550 Euros Exc. VAT for the 4th and 5th entries / 450 Euros Exc. VAT starting the 6th entry); 450 Euros per entry for independent hotels. Participation in the competition will not be confirmed until reception of the candidates’ duly completed dossier or dossiers, as well as payment of registration fees.

Awards ceremony
Gathering about 800 decision-makers, the award-giving ceremony will be held on November
12th 2012 at the InterContinental Paris le Grand, and will be presided by Simon Vincent,President Europe Hilton Worldwide. It is today an unmissable event for hotel leaders, their operations teams and all the partners that allow it to get better and better.
