Reopened in June 2025 after a USD 80 million renovation, Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles Resort emerges as a vibrant, sustainable destination on Mahé’s west coast.
The redesigned property features 192 tropical-inspired rooms and suites, seven restaurants and bars, a new AvaniSpa, and AvaniFit facilities. The project emphasizes Seychellois culture through local design and guest rituals such as the “Kraken’s Embrace” cocktail and the blowing of the conch shell. Environmental initiatives include the “Wetlands Pledge” with the Ministry of Environment and plastic recycling partnerships with SeyTreasure.
This transformation repositions Avani+ Barbarons as a modern, community-minded resort balancing elegance, ecology, and island authenticity.
