This award recognises a structured social impact and inclusion strategy generating tangible and lasting value for communities, employees or society, while being embedded in the organisation’s operating model and long-term vision.
The project:
To celebrate the 100-year history of the Albar family in hospitality, Groupe Centaurus launched the #TousEn100ble challenge, a charitable sporting event sponsored by Camille Lacourt. The goal is to run the equivalent of 100 marathons over 100 days to support the construction of a hospitality school in Côte d'Ivoire.
Each week, teams of 10 employees run in relay from Monday noon to Thursday noon, covering 170 km collectively over four days. The route connects all current and future Groupe Centaurus hotel locations. Every kilometer run raises €1 for the school's construction, supporting the group's two hotel projects in Côte d'Ivoire.
Groupe Centaurus collaborates with SPART, a company promoting sports and well-being in the workplace, to manage the logistics and route planning. The primary challenge is coordinating the internal organization to allow employees to participate without disrupting hotel operations. Participants include both operational staff (housekeepers, kitchen assistants, butlers) and executive committee members.
This initiative demonstrates Groupe Centaurus's commitment to social responsibility and employee engagement, while also supporting the development of hospitality education in Côte d'Ivoire.
